Outreach

“Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”

Hebrews 13:16

The Grace United Church of Christ is actively involved in providing opportunities of service within the community and support for service ministry. Some of our outreach endeavors include:

Carpenter’s Table – A free weekly community hot meal is served to men, women and children at 11:30 a.m. each Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Grace Church, along with the other area churches, alternate turns to host the weekly meal.

Hygiene Kits / Clean-Up Buckets – Grace UCC works in partnership with Church World Service to respond to need around our country and world. When disaster strikes and the call goes out, we have responded with hygiene kits and clean-up buckets to support those who have lost everything and need a kind hand of help. Clothing Drive – Grace UCC supports clothing ministries of Shepherd’s Staff with an annual clothing drive and/or coat drive as needed. These are done seasonally as announced by the church. We believe that dignity for those in need includes good clothing.
